Professional Experience

As Vice President of Mixed Use Design & Construction, Ellen oversees all design, project document development, design team assembly and general contractor oversight for construction execution. Ellen has spent 15 years in the architecture and construction industry, designing and building for-sale and rental units including garden, urban infill, mid-rise, adaptive reuse and mixed use throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. She has been involved in all aspects of planning, design, estimating, and building over 7,500 multifamily units with total hard costs exceeding $1B. She is a licensed architect (NCARB/AIA) and is LEED AP.

Prior to joining Crosland Southeast, Ellen worked for Wood Real Estate Investors serving as a Senior Preconstruction Manager for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, and prior to that worked for JLL.  Ellen began her career in real estate as a practicing architect with a focus on multifamily and mixed use projects.
