Charlotte, N.C., July 14, 2016 — Charlotte-based commercial developers Childress Klein and Crosland Southeast announced that Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry, Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center, Waverly Dental and Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte will be added to the list of healthcare tenants at the 90-acre Waverly development near the intersection of Providence Road and Providence Country Club Drive in South Charlotte. The 33,000-square-foot first medical office building, also occupied by Novant Health Waverly Pediatrics & Primary Care and Novant Health Urgent Care, will welcome Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center and Waverly Dental. The 22,000-square-foot second medical office building, also occupied by Horizon Eye Care, will welcome both Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry and Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte.
Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center opened its new location at 11840 Southmore Dr., Suite 175 in early June. Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte, Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry and Waverly Dental are slated to open in Fall 2016.
“These four new medical office tenants fit well with our vision of Waverly,” said Paul Devine, office partner at Childress Klein. “Adding top-tier health providers grows our list of health- and wellness-oriented tenants, allowing Waverly to provide high-quality care to South Charlotte residents.”
Serving the Charlotte area since 1952, Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center is the area’s oldest and largest asthma and allergy practice made up entirely of board-certified physicians. “We’re excited about our newest location in Waverly. Waverly not only fits perfectly with our 10 other area locations, but it’s a very unique place that we’ll share with other outstanding businesses,” said Dr. Michael A. Lapuente from Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center.
Waverly Dental plans to open its multi-specialty dental center in the Waverly development in September 2016. The new location will offer general dentistry services, but also maintain oral surgeons, pediatric dentists, orthodontists and endodontics on staff. Now good dental health in a loving environment is literally right around the corner.”
Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte offers comprehensive aesthetic care from surgery to injectables to skincare, including aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as medspa services. “I am excited to open my new office in the Waverly development and look forward to continuing to serve this rapidly expanding area of Charlotte and the Charlotte metropolitan area,” said Augenstein.
Travis Hart and Jenny Fowler of Childress Klein represented Waverly in the leasing of the medical and corporate office buildings.
Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry, Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center, Waverly Dental and Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte join more than 25 retail shops, restaurants and offices that have signed leases at Waverly, including a 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods opening this winter and 22,000-square-foot medical office anchor Novant Health.
