An independent coffeehouse, an ice cream shop and a residential real estate agency are the newest tenants that will soon open at Waverly, the 90-acre mixed-use development in south Charlotte.
Café Moka and Häagen-Dazs signed leases for spots on The Terrace, a public plaza and outdoor dining space that opened last month, according to statement Tuesday from Childress Klein, the firm developing Waverly along with Crosland Southeast. HM Properties has also signed a lease for a Waverly spot.
Waverly is anchored by a Whole Foods grocery store, which opened in May. Other tenants of the development just south of Interstate 485 include apartments, homes, office buildings, a Hilton Garden Inn and dozens of shops and restaurants, including Babalu Tapas & Tacos and DeSano Pizza Bakery.
