Crosland Southeast has been selected to serve as Master Developer on the proposed mixed-use redevelopment of the 69-acre former Eastland Mall site in east Charlotte. Crosland Southeast is working with Eastland Community Development, Odell Architects and the City of Charlotte to solicit community feedback for the project, where potential uses could include residential, office, retail, hotel, and sports and community facilities.
Crosland Southeast has extensive experience with complex, master-planned developments and public-private partnerships. The firm’s public-private partnerships include One Bellevue Place—the redevelopment of the Bellevue Mall in Nashville, Tenn., into a vibrant mixed-use community featuring retail, residential, senior housing, two hotels and a skating and community center operated by the Nashville Predators—and the Cloverleaf Mall redevelopment in Richmond, Va. Both projects were envisioned and custom designed for their communities.
